ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
Prior to training as a Craniosacral therapist, I had a long corporate career as a market research consultant. However, my interest in alternative therapies began decades earlier, when I was still at university. Over the years, I found myself drawn repeatedly towards this world, with several attempts to begin training along the way. The timing never seemed quite right, or perhaps I just wasn’t ready.
The connection between body, mind and soul became increasingly apparent to me through my longstanding practice of yoga. A quote on a wall of a studio stayed with me forever:
“Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees” - B.K.S. Iyengar
In many ways, this is also what craniosacral therapy did to me. It didn’t simply change my ability to understand intellectually, but deepened the way I listen – to myself, to others, and to what the body communicates beyond words.

MY JOURNEY
My life’s been eventful and dynamic from a very early age. Growing up between two countries, my native Greece and Italy, and being educated in an international school, I had to learn early on to adapt to change and how to interact with people from different cultural backgrounds. In my late teens, with a couple of study trips to the UK and Germany behind me, I decided that I was going to live abroad when I was older. I fulfilled my wish, and I ended up in London, seeking adventure and better career opportunities. I loved my new life and my job, but I quickly realised that it was tougher than I had anticipated. Over time, the increasing demands and pace of corporate life began to take their toll, physically and emotionally.
When eventually ‘life got in the way’, I chose to pause.

This is when I discovered cranio-sacral therapy or, I should say, when cranio-sacral therapy came to me. It soon became a critical source of support at the most challenging time of my life, helping me stay grounded whilst dealing with the emotional overwhelm of grief and exhaustion.
I remember being deeply moved by the possibility of supporting others in such a gentle and yet profound way. I soon realised that something very deep inside me had fundamentally changed. A corporate restructure opened the door to owning that feeling, and that’s when I decided to train as a craniosacral therapist.
Looking back, the transition makes more sense than it might appear - my work had always revolved around listening – to clients, colleagues, and the stories behind the data. Craniosacral therapy taught me a different kind of listening, one where you follow rather than lead, where the body sets the pace, and where your role is to hold space for others in a more profound way. More importantly, it deepened my understanding of myself and my appreciation for the body's remarkable capacity to adapt, protect and heal.
Today, this understanding informs the way I work – with presence, empathy and deep respect for each person’s individual journey.
